On 30 July 2023, Russian forces carried out airstrikes and shelled Ukrainian positions near Kostiantynivka, Donetsk. Russian forces used cluster shells. According to Russian sources, more than 220 Ukrainian servicemen were killed near Bilohorivka, Berestove, Spirne, Sieverne, Marinka, Vodyane, Maiorsk, Novoselivka, Kramatorsk and Kostiantynivka (220 fatalities split between 10 events and coded as 22). 5 civilians were injured.
