On August 4, three Army soldiers (names not mentioned) were killed during an ongoing encounter with terrorists in Hallan forest area in Manzgam block of Kulgam District in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. Upon receiving information about the presence of militants, Security Forces (SFs) launched a search operation. They were fired upon during the intensified searches, triggering an encounter. The militants fled, leading to the rapid deployment of reinforcements for an intensified search.
