On August 2, three Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) operatives, identified as Abul Hashem, Mohammad Ruhul Amin, and Kamrul Hasan, were arrested after an exchange of fire with the Armed Police Battalion (APBn) in a Rohingya camp in Ukhiya Upazila (Sub-District) in Cox’s Bazar District (Chittagong Division), reports Dhaka Tribune. APBn-14 chief Additional DIG Mohammad Harun-ur-Rashid said that a one-shooter gun, six rounds of ammunition, three cartridges, and a cleaning rod were recovered from their possession.
