On 3 August 2023, a bomb went off in Ai Tue-Ngo village, tambon Si Sakhon, Si Sakhon (Narathiwat), injuring two civilians. According to an investigation, a bomb, weighing 20 kilograms, was buried in a drain under a road surface. It is believed that the bomb was planted by Malay Muslim separatists who targeted the vehicle, assuming it belonged to the officials.
