On 2 August 2023, in Muse township (Muse district, Shan-North state), the Myanmar military based in Muse 105 Milestone trade zone fired artillery rounds indiscriminately into Sei Lant, Out Tont Khan, and Loi Tay Main mountain range. A woman sustained injuries from artillery shells, and some houses were damaged. Other sources, BBC and Khit Thit Media, reported that three women and two men were injured.
