On 4 August 2023, in Muse town (Muse township, Muse district, Shan-North state), a car exploded at a car repair shop located at the industrial zone in Ho Nar ward at around 4 pm. A driver was killed, and five other men at the repair shop sustained minor injuries. While the cause of the explosion was unknown, it exploded from the trunk of the car. Locals assumed that it was a bomb explosion.
