Around 31 July 2023 (as reported), in the rural area of Puerto Rico corregimiento (Cauca), two soldiers were injured after stepping on a landmine planted by the Carlos Patino FARC dissident group. The detonation took place in the context of armed clashes between the armed group and military forces (coded separately). There were no fatalities.
