On 24 July 2023, Russian forces shelled near Kostiantynivka, Donetsk, with artillery, killing 3 and injuring at least 9 civilians. According to Russian sources, on that day, around 280 Ukrainian soldiers were killed near Bilohorivka, Zaitseve, Pervomayske, Marinka, Klischiivka, Hryhorivka and Kostiantynivka. (280 fatalities split across 7 locations and coded as 40). Overall fatalities coded as 43.
