On July 20, one ‘Regional Tenki Officer’ of Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF), identified as Obed Kamei, was killed by suspected National Socialist Council of Nagaland - Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM) cadres in Dailong Village in Tamenglong District in Manipur, reports The Sangai Express. Obed Kamei was kidnapped by suspected NSCN-IM cadres on July 19 from Noney District and he was found shot dead at Dailong Village on the next day.
