On July 30, at least 26 activists of Jamaat-e Islami (JeI) were arrested by Police from Kishoregonj and Narsingdi Districts in the Dhaka Division and Kushtia District in the Khulna Division, reports The Daily Star. At least 15 JeI activists were arrested from the Ekrampur Bus Stand area in Kishoregonj District, five from Kushtia District, and six from Shibpur Upazila (Sub-District) in Narsingdi District. Also, over a dozen hand bombs were recovered during the arrest in Narsingdi.
