On 22 July 2023, at the exit of In Pin village (Indaw township, Katha district, Sagaing region), two men stepped on a landmine when they were returning from Seik Thar village from selling pork in the afternoon. Both died on the spot. Locals claimed that the landmine was planted by the military as the military LIB-301 stationed in the village for some time.
