On 22 July 2023, in Kyauk Shat village (Yebyu township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), the Myanmar military troops fired weapons into the village after being attacked with remote explosives by the revolution forces (coded separately), injuring two villagers and destroying some houses in the village.
