On 25 July 2023, in Hseng Hkawng village (Muse township, Muse district, Shan-North state), following a clash between the Myanmar military and the TNLA in the morning (coded separately), the military launched airstrikes using a Mi35 helicopter gunship and fired artillery rounds into the village after learning that the TNLA troops arrived in the village. A 40-year-old man was killed, and another villager sustained injuries in the thigh. The military LIB-241 and LIB-45 then seized the body of the victim from the family.
