On 25 July 2023, near Nam Aum village (Muse township, Muse district, Shan-North state), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes from 10:30 am to 12 pm on Ta'ang National Liberation Army stationed at Gaung Ngu Kaung hill. The military also fired artillery shells from 105 miles military camp during the airstrikes. Casualties unknown.
