On 26 July 2023, in Chauk town (Chauk township, Magway district, Magway region), a combined force of the Chauk Guerrilla Force, the Chauk PDF (PaKaPha) and the Burma Revolution Rangers attacked seven Myanmar military soldiers, who were stationed at a bunker in front of the Myanma Economic Bank, with two grenades at around 8:15 pm. One of the grenades did not explode, while another exploded in a bunker. A military soldier was injured. The other source, Khit Thit Media, reported that one military soldier was killed and eight others were injured. Fatalities coded as 0 following the lowest estimate.
