On 27 July 2023, near Ei Naing village (Lashio township, Lashio district, Shan-North state), the Myanmar military launched airstrikes and dropped at least 15 bombs on a temporary camp of the TNLA Brigade 4 at around 10 am without an armed clash occurring. Two TNLA soldiers were killed. Khit Thit Media reported that five members of TNLA were injured by the airstrikes.
