On 23 July 2023, in the rural area of La Llanada municipality (Narino), a farmer was injured by the detonation of a landmine planter by an unidentified armed group in El Palmar vereda. The victim had his leg amputated. There is presence of the ELN and a FARC dissident group in the area. There were no fatalities.
