Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine During the day, Russian troops conducted a massive missile and air strike on the territory of Ukraine, using 3 sea-launched cruise missiles Kalibr, 5 ground-launched cruise missiles Iskander-K, 4 Kh-22 cruise missiles, 7 Oniks cruise missiles, and 19 strike UAVs of the Shahed type. As a result of the combat operations, the Ukrainian Air Force’s and air defense systems of other components of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 2 Kalibr cruise missiles, 3 ground-launched cruise missiles Iskander-K, and 13 Shahed strike UAVs. Additionally, the Russian army carried out 40 airstrikes and conducted 46 shelling attacks using multiple rocket launch systems. Unfortunately, civilian casualties, as well as destruction and damage to industrial facilities, residential buildings, and other civilian and administrative infrastructure, have been reported as a result of these Russian terrorist attacks. The likelihood of missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high. The Russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, with 20 combat clashes occurring during the day. The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissya directions remains unchanged, with no significant changes observed. There are no signs of Russia’a forming offensive groupings. In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army maintains a military presence. It conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 20 settlements, including Leonivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Seredyna-Buda, Volfyne in Sumy Oblast; and Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Starytsya, Vovchansk, and Budarky in Kharkiv Oblast. In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers are holding the defense steadfastly. They successfully repelled Russian attacks southwest of Masyutivka in Kharkiv Oblast. Artillery and mortar fire from Russian troops targeted Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kamyanka, Krasne Pershe, Kupyansk, Kucherivka, Monachynivka, and Topoli in Kharkiv Oblast. In the Lyman direction, artillery shelling affected the settlements of Nevske, Bilogorivka in Luhansk Oblast, and Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Berestove, Kyslivka, and Rozdolivka in Donetsk Oblast. In the Bakhmut direction, under intense Russian artillery fire, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled attacks on the southwest outskirts of Klyshchivka. Over 10 settlements, including Vasiukivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, and Oleksandro-Shultine in Donetsk Oblast, were affected by Russian artillery shelling. In the Avdiivka direction, under heavy Russian aviation and artillery fire, Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled Russian attacks in the area of Nevelske. The Russian army conducted an airstrike in the vicinity of the city of Avdiivka. At the same time, it carried out artillery shelling on more than 10 settlements, including Avdiivka, Karlivka, and Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast. In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the areas of Novomykhailivka and Marinka in Donetsk Oblast. The Russian army carried out shelling on more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, and Georgiivka in Donetsk Oblast. In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army conducted an airstrike in the area of Makarivka and carried out shelling on the settlements of Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, Blahodatne, and Odradne in Donetsk Oblast. In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian army concentrates its main efforts on preventing the further advancement of Ukrainian troops.
