On 19 July 2023, Russian forces launched a Shahed-136 and Oniks, Kalibr and Kh-22 missile strike at Odesa, Odesa region. Kh-59 missile was shot down over the sea, while other missiles damaged the port grain storage facilities, warehouses and civilian infrastructure and caused a massive fire. Some of the missiles were intercepted by Ukrainian forces, but the debris damaged residential areas. At least 6 civilians were injured, including a 9-year-old boy.
