On 16 July 2023, between Ywar Thit and Htein Pin villages (coded as Ywar Thit) (Myingyan township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region), a combined force of the MGN 35 Guerrilla Force and the Bo Sekka (Myingyan People's Defense Force) attacked on two military reinforcement vehicles carrying around 20 soldiers with 12 mines on the Myingyan-Na Bu Aing Road at around 8 am. 17 military soldiers were killed.
