On 16 July 2023, near Myaung Thit village of Madaya township (Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), a combined force of the People's Defense Force - Pyinoolwin District Battalion 1 Unit 1 and the Madaya PDF (PaKaPha) carried out a mine attack on a military column advancing towards the village at the Tadar Net bridge at 5:50 am. Casualties unknown.
