On 17 July 2023, between Aung Chan Thar and Myaung U villages of Madaya township (Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Nat Soe Myay Auk Taw Hlan Yay Tatphwe: Demon Underground Revolutionary Force carried out a mine attack against two military vehicles on a bridge at around 430 pm. The military troops randomly opened fire and killed a local civilian and injured a woman.
