On 18 July 2023, between Koe Pin and Pu Tee Hpyu villages (coded as Koe Pin) (Thabeikkyin township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Kyar Hnyat People's Defense Force carried out mine attacks against Myanmar military soldiers, who were leaving Kyar Hnyat village in a van, with two mines at around 9 pm. Two military soldiers were severely injured.
