On 18 July 2023, in Momauk township (Bhamo district, Kachin state), the KIA (special battalion 47) carried out mine attacks against two Myanmar military vehicles coming from No.370 artillery unit based in Dawthponeyan area at the base of Lwe Gel Bum mountain at around 12 pm. Casualties unknown.
