On 18 July 2023, in Zee Da Ban village of Kutkai township (Muse district, Shan-North state), artillery shells fired by the Myanmar military during a clash with the KIA in Nam Hpat Kar village (coded separately) landed in the village at around 5:30 pm. A 16-year-old boy was killed, and three others including a nine-year-old boy and a teacher sustained injuries.
