On July 13, during a combing operation, contingents of the Garhwa Police and 172 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) unearthed a small cache of some deadly devices along with daily use items of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) from a Maoist dump at Burha Pahar near Tumera village under the Bhandaria Police Station limits in Garhwa District of Jharkhand, reports lagatar24.com. The joint team recovered one 2.5 kilogramme Improvised Explosive Device (IED), 67 detonators, three Motorola wireless sets, two digital electric meters, 25 nails and two hammers, six bell switches and 14 bed switches, scissors, seven steel containers, etc. Garhwa Superintendent of Police (SP) Anjani Kumar Jha said, "We had a precise tip-off about this dump, and our security forces made a flawless unearthing of it."
