On 8 July 2023, Houthi forces launched a shell from a drone targeting the HQs of an IRG camp in Ad Dabab region (Sabir Al Mawadim, Taizz) west of Taizz city killing between 2 and 4 IRG soldiers including 2 commanders and injuring between 2 and 12 others depending on sources.
