On 11 July 2023, in Shwebo town (Shwebo township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Shwebo District PDF (B-23) (Unit-1), Naung Yoe Army and the Shwebo Tiger attacked about 60 military soldiers stationed in the Shwebo Palace with grenades at around 11 am, killing 4 military soldiers according to Mizzima. Myanmar Now reported that there were 3 fatalities and 6 injuries on the military side. Fatalities coded as 3 using the lowest estimate.
