Projectile event in Durrës County, Kruje area, Albania on Tue 4th July 2023

Shots from a Kalashnikov were fired in the direction of the apartment of a 42-year-old man with a criminal background. As a result, his brother-in-law, aged 29, and his two minor sons, and 10 and 13, were injured. The injured victims received medical treatment. After the incident, the perpetrators fled the scene, and the police later found a burned car and seized three Kalashnikovs found inside. The police also found four shells on the main road. The police suspect that three perpetrators were involved in this case. Three men were brought into the police station for interrogation. It is suspected that the incident is linked to the troubled past of the 42-year-old man, who had already been a target of assassination three times.
