On 6 July 2023, in Monywa township (Monywa district, Sagaing region), a combined force of local defense forces carried out mine attacks against around 21 Myanmar military soldiers, who were returning to Monywa town from Taw Pu village after delivering weapons and ammunition, with five cluster mines at around 4:30 pm. The combined force includes the Brave Heart Army, the Special Forces 11 - PDF, the Monywa Dynamite - Special Task Force, the Myaung Revolutionary Army, the Peace Takers Task Force and the God Of Monywa People Defence Force. Two military soldiers were killed.
