On 5 July 2023, in Nyaung Pin Wun village (Sagaing township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), the Sagaing District PDF battalion 6 - squadron 1 fired eight rounds of 60mm mortar and five rounds of 120mm artillery at the village police station at around 5:30 am. Casualties unknown.
