On 4 July 2023, in Kein Dein village of Lo Pu village tract (Demoso township, Loikaw district, Kayah state), the military conducted airstrikes on the village that IDPs were taking refuge three times with two 500 lb bombs and two 100 lb bombs starting from around 2 am, destroying some IDP tents and injuring injuring three family members including a 2-year-old child.
