On 2 July 2023, near Yae Kyaw village (Seikphyu township, Pakokku district, Magway region), a combined force of the Pakokku District PDF (B-1) (Unit-1) and Central Armed Forces - SeikPhyu People's Defense Force (PaKaPha) attacked about 15 military soldiers with mines near the In Pin Chaung Yoe Bridge at around 9 am, killing 7 and injuring 8 military soldiers. The military soldiers on the strategic hill ran down to help their ground forces and detonated a mine planted by the combined force, killing 2 more military soldiers. Fatalities coded as 9.
