On 1 July 2023, in Ah Bit village of Mudon township (Mawlamyine district, Mon state), local People's Defense Force carried out drone strikes against the Myanmar military soldiers at a security gate on Ah Bit - Kha Lel Khun road at around 4 pm. One military soldier and a police force died and another one was injured.
