On 6 July 2023, Russian forces shelled near Krasne Pershe, Kharkiv, with mortars and artillery. According to Russian sources, on that day, around 25 Ukrainian soldiers were killed near Krasne Pershe, Synkivka, Masyutivka, Tymkivka and Novoselivske (25 fatalities split across 5 locations and coded as 5).
