Three citizens were killed by stray bullets and others injured, during an exchange of gunfire between the army and the Rapid Support Forces, in the popular market and Karari neighborhood in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur state, on Friday and Saturday.

Eyewitnesses said that a group of Rapid Support Forces looted the Safna headquarters east of the Sudanese Turkish Hospital and the military training center in Karari neighborhood, which is affiliated with the police forces in the state, on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Early shops in the markets and shops in the different neighborhoods, for fear of being looted by the unruly.

Extensive looting

On the other hand, Nyala, the capital of South Darfur state, is witnessing widespread looting, by the Rapid Support Forces and the outlaws. Public institutions, homes and property of citizens have been affected, in addition to the massive exchange of indiscriminate shooting, in all parts of the city of Nyala, north, south and center.

A citizen from Nyala told Radio Dabanga that the conflict between the army and the RSF has turned into a tribal conflict, where people are classified into red, who are classified as belonging to the RSF, and black as belonging to the army, indicating that a number of young men have been liquidated, whether in the markets or on the roads. And at the inspection gates, they looted phones and cash from citizens, and a number of women in Nyala revealed that they were subjected to sexual harassment, during the inspections, in the places where the army or the Rapid Support Forces are located, and the citizens appealed to the leaders of both parties, to monitor their employees, who are deployed on the roads, and in the markets North and South Wadi Burli.
