On 29 June 2023, in Lel Taung Yar village of Tanintharyi region (Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), joint local People's Defense Forces (PDF) carried out drone strikes against the Myanmar military troops stationed at the village's Monastery at around 3 pm. The group then attacked the military at around 6 pm. Casualties unknown.
