On 30 May 2020, pro-Hadi forces reportedly fired artillery shells at pro-STC forces (coded as Security Belt) in Ash Shaykh Salim (Zingibar, Abyan) and At Tariyah (Khanfir, Abyan) while pro-STC forces (coded as Security Belt) fired artillery shells at pro-Hadi forces in Qarn al Kulasi (Khanfir, Abyan). There was no indication of fatalities or injuries from any of the shellings.
