On 24 June 2023, militia (described as Janjaweed, coded as Darfur Arab Militia) fired mortar shells and looted civilians in Khartoum - Lamab (Khartoum, Khartoum), Al Shajara, Jabra, Al Kalakla, Al-Futaih, Umm Usher, and Al-Shaqilab (coded separately). Clashes took place in multiple locations for two days resulting in at least 20 people killed and dozens wounded. 20 fatalities split across 10 events. Fatalities coded as 2.
