On 24 June 2023, near Boke village (Patheingyi township, Mandalay district, Mandalay region), the military soldiers who were in the process of clearing mines stepped on a mine planted by the Demon Underground Revolutionary Force at around 8 am and caused an explosion. There were 2 fatalities and 2 injuries on the military side.
