On 27 June 2023, Russian forces shelled near Kyslivka, Kharkiv, with mortars and artillery. According to Russian sources, on that day, around 30 Ukrainian soldiers were killed near Synkivka, Tymkivka, Kyslivka and Novoselivske (30 fatalities split across 4 locations and coded as 8).
