Unidentified assailants shot dead a Sikh trader, identified as Manmohan Singh, in Kakshal area of Peshawar, the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on June 24, reports Daily Times. According to city Superintendent of Police (SP) Abdul Salam Khalid, the incident occurred at around 8pm when Singh, who was heading home in Guldara Chowk at the time, was targeted by the motorcyclists, leaving him severely injured, who later succumbed to his injuries. The assailants managed to escape the scene.
