On June 24, a soldier was injured in an exchange of fire with terrorists who were trying to cross the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports PTI. The encounter took place in the forward Ranger Nallah area of the Gulpur sector of Poonch District on June 23 when the Indian troops noticed three heavily armed terrorists trying to infiltrate into India under the cover of thick foliage and darkness, officials stated.
