Punjab Police on June 22 foiled a cross-border weapons smuggling bid after recovering four .30 bore pistols along with magazines, from Kakkar village in Amritsar District of Punjab, reports Tribune India. Police stated that the consignment was delivered via drone but could not be retrieved due to heightened activities of the Border Security Force (BSF) and state Police in the region.
