On June 19, a 40-day-old infant was killed and a woman (mother) was injured in a targeted attack by unidentified gunmen in the village of Seshanbe in Sheberghan, the provincial capital of Jowzjan Province, reports Hasht-e Subh Daily. Taliban authorities have corroborated the occurrence of this incident.
