On 21 June 2023, overnight, an IED planted by Al Shabaab detonated, targeting government security forces (Harmacad) in a checkpoint at the Tareedisho in Mogadishu - Daynile (Banadir). Al Shabaab claimed killing one soldier and injured four others.
