On 17 June 2023, near Tha Yet Kan village (Myaing township, Pakokku district, Magway region), a combined force of the Myaing PDF (PaKaPha) Battalion 1 Units 1 and 2, the Light Guerrilla Force (Myaing) and the Kamma Defense Force carried out two mine attacks on two military vehicles and a column of military soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee who were coming out of the village at about 7 am. Two military soldiers were killed, and many others were injured. A military vehicle was damaged.
