On 18 June 2023, between Ywar Thar Yar and Kyun Taw villages (coded as Ywar Thar Yar) (Indaw township, Katha district, Sagaing region), an unidentified armed group blew up the Ton Si bridge connecting between Indaw and Banmauk townships. The bridge was damaged. Casualties unknown.
