On 20 June 2023, near Shwe Lin Ban village of Hlaingtharya-East township (Yangon-North district, Yangon region), a bomb explosion occurred near the Town Hall and Ka Naung Housing on the Bayint Naung road at around 8:30 pm. No group claimed responsibility for the explosion. Casualties unknown.
