On 20 June 2023, between Tha Pyay and Yae Kyaw villages (Seikphyu township, Pakokku district, Magway region), a combined force of the Central Armed Forces - SeikPhyu People's Defense Force and the Seikphyu Township PDF (Myay Lat Zon PaKaPha) attacked a military truck carrying 30 soldiers with four mines on the Seikphyu - Saw road at around 7:50 am, killing 3 and injuring at least 20 military soldiers. The combined force attacked the military truck again with mines at around 9 am, killing 2 and injuring 5 more military soldiers. A total of fatalities coded as 5.
